International Collaboration

The IBC Network Foundation Canada was founded to address the urgent need for dedicated research, education, and advocacy for Inflammatory Breast Cancer in Canada.

Danielle Cameron and Terry Arnold

While we operate independently, we believe in the power of global collaboration to drive progress in IBC research and awareness.

Terry Arnold founded the IBC Network Foundation in the United States with a singular mission: to do more for IBC. As the first charity dedicated specifically to IBC research and education, it helped inspire and mentor the creation of other IBC-focused charities: the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network UK, the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Network Foundation Australia, and, of course, the IBC Network Foundation Canada.

Each of these charities is a separate, independent entity with its own leadership, goals, and funding. However, we share a common mission—to accelerate research and improve outcomes for those diagnosed with IBC. By working together, we exchange knowledge, amplify awareness, and strengthen advocacy efforts worldwide. This international collaboration fuels progress, ensuring that research and resources benefit patients on a global scale.

At the IBC Network Foundation Canada, we are driven by the same hope that unites IBC advocates around the world. Terry’s personal motto, “Hope Always!”, has inspired many in the IBC community, and we carry that spirit forward in our work. While our focus is on making a direct impact in Canada, we know that progress anywhere benefits patients everywhere. With determination and collaboration, we CAN make a difference in the fight against IBC.
